Atlas 890 Series - Multiplexer

The ATLAS 890 Series of Integrated Access Devices (IADs) support voice, data, video, and Internet applications for medium-to-large Enterprise Networks. The ATLAS 890 offers full system redundancy (logic and power) for mission critical networks as well as additional expansion slots for higher port density.

• Functions as a multi-T1 or T3 IAD, 3/1/0 DACS, ISDN switch, IP router, and Frame Relay concentrator/switch
• Switchboard supports circuit switching applications such as intelligent call routing , overbooking and least-cost routing
• Supports switched PRI delivered over T3
• Net-3 and Net-5 Euro-ISDN protocols supported
• System provides 15 option module slots
• System controller includes 10/100BaseT Ethernet interface for SNMP/telnet management and IP routing
• Includes Frame Relay, PPP, and IP routing software
• Accepts all ATLAS 800 series options modules
• Optional redundant system controller and power supply can provide full system redundancy
• Ability to migrate to additional packet technologies such as ATM and Voice over IP
