Atlas 550 Series - Multiplexer

The ATLAS 550 is a multi-T1/PRI/E1/PRA integrated access device for small-to-medium sites that converges voice, data, video, and internet traffic to improve network efficiency and reduce telecommunications costs.

• The ATLAS 550 functions as an IP router, T1 bandwidth manager, ISDN switch, 1/0 Digital Access Cross-Connect System (DACS), and includes intelligent call routing for both analog and digital voice circuits.
• The ATLAS 550 IAD enables LAN-to-LAN interconnections using an integral IP router (10/100BaseT) with support for Frame Relay or PPP traffic.
• The ATLAS base chassis provides six modular expansion slots, two network interface slots, and four user interface slots.
